Welcome to Mrs. Martin's Class!!
Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Tina Martin. This is my 9th year at Rockvale Elementary. It is such an honor for me to be with such a wonderful school and community. I have been married to my husband, Brian Martin, for 29 years. We have 3 sons, Ian celebrated his 25th birthday in heaven on August 27th (Ian went home to be with the Lord June 9, 2024), Alex (21), Gavin (18), and one dog (Marci). I graduated from MTSU in 1995. I was fortunate enough to be able to stay home with all three of our boys until Gavin started kindergarten. So, who knows if I'll ever retire!! My goal this year is to provide a fun, safe, and loving environment for your child to succeed in. I can still remember the day each one of my boys started kindergarten. I remember how important it was to me that they felt loved and enjoyed being at school. It is just as important to me, as a teacher, for each one of my students to feel that way. I want to thank each one of you for sharing your child with me this year. I promise to treat him/her with the same love and respect I would my own boys!
