What Do We Do?
School counselors are certified and licensed educators who improve success for all students. Our school counseling department offers classroom guidance lessons as part of our Related Arts rotation. When we are not in the classroom teaching, we also offer:
- Short-term individual counseling
- Small-groups from same grade level. Example topics: emotional regulation, stress management, grief and loss, friendships, bullying, and study skills.
- Kindness Club
Referrals for counseling can be done by a guardian/parent, a teacher/staff member, another student as well as a self-referral.
