All about the teacher

My name is Deborah Henderson and this will be my 17th year of teaching. I graduated from MTSU with both of my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education. Over the years I have taught a variety of ages ranging from 3 years old through 7th grade. 

This will be my fourth year teaching here at Rockvale Elementary. Other places I have taught are: Cedar Grove Elementary, Buchanan Elementary, Christiana Elementary and I also taught preschool a few years at my church.

 

I am married to Ronnie Henderson and together we have two boys who also attend Rockvale Elementary. Max will be in 5th grade and Levi will be in 2nd grade. Outside of school I enjoy being with my family, friends or just taking it easy. Here are some things I enjoy: being outside, journaling, swimming, playing games, attending church, being creative, Coke Zero, Reese's peanut butter cups and the color purple!
